As Shadow Creek heads into our 4th season we love thinking about all of the beautiful weddings we have hosted, and all of the beautiful weddings we will get to see this year. When we designed Shadow Creek, we wanted to provide couples with a beautifully chic equestrian barn, representative of the gorgeous Loudoun County countryside. Many people are familiar with our resident horse, and the king of selfies, Gus, but this year we are excited to reveal our latest equestrian addition, Hitched Bar!
For quite some time we imagined creating a fun bar space for our couples to enjoy. Seeing how much everyone has enjoyed Gus, it only seemed appropriate to continue with the equestrian theme, and we decided a horse trailer bar was the perfect fit. Hitched wasn’t created overnight; we are so thankful to Justin Holmberg, our friend who is more like family, and his dedication to making this happen for us, down to the last detail. Hitched started off as an old horse trailer and after being stripped to the studs, we now have a beautiful (rebuilt) trailer that can be used in so many creative ways.
Hitched is not limited to Shadow Creek weddings, we are happy to tow it to any location within Loudoun County. The perfect detail for bridal showers, weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, and all of life’s events, Hitched is just waiting for your creativity. Hitched comes with string lights, power outlets, and a power cord, it is not a fully stocked bar, it comes empty, and you can design it however you would like, inside and out.
